Hello Ladies,

I am 22 weeks 1 day pregnant with my 3rd child.

Since about 16 weeks pregnant I have had a very frustrating problem, I'll go for a wee as usual, squeeze every last drop out but when I stand up & pull my underwear back up a tiny bit of wee leaks back out even though I was sure I had finished. I'm having to wear panty liners all the time now as I hate that wet knicker feeling. lol. I generally have good bladder control otherwise, never leak when I cough, sneeze or laugh.

I've been tested for UTI, thrush & other infections but all clear so it's being put down to pregnany unfortunately.

I can't remember this happening in my other 2 pregnancies.

Hope I'm not the only one with wet knicker syndrome lol (TMI)

i have had this since week 13. I found the way i fixed it is to lean as far forward as possible while peeing and i don't know if it takes the uterus pressure off the bladder or what but it clears it all out for me. If I don't do that i'll end up peeing a bit when i stand up or bend over for something.

Oh i keep having this - my late wee trips always result in a dribble that ALWAYS gets the back of my leg :( thought it was just me not being able to wee properly!!!

It so important as ladies to know as we get older our muscles get weeker - that said to avoid UTI's, Kidney stones, gallbladder infections etc that we completely empty our bladders. When you pee - pee more. By that do not get up until the second or even third urge passes - important even if it a little one drop.

I have this and i'm only 20 and on 1st baby!! but mine was due to my UTI
hope you get some answers, it's very annoying and i was going through knickers at an alarming rate!!

Did you get any symptoms with the UTI?

Sounds pretty normal.

Haven't a clue if this will help - but it will be good for other reasons! Join us on our quest to save foo foos at Twinminators Pelvic Floor thread!

Was just about to mention trying that

I get the same thing happening. Told to wear panty liners and keep pulling pelvic floor in, hold it ,release and repeat. I hate it mind it feels irratating.

Just bought a yoga in pregnancy dvd off ebay yesterday to help with everything. Crouched down and wet myself. :haha:

Was just complaining about this to DH. Thanks for starting this thread so I could get these tips

lol im sorry hon, i know its probably very embarrssing for you but it did make me giggle...

im not being mean btw, i spend my childhood with constant cystitis and i just remember all too well the little 'post wee dribble' do you ever not feel it till its dripped down to your knee??

I sneezed yesterday and just wet myself completely... Classy I am lol x

Glad I am not alone, seems to be a common problem.

I'm going to do my pelvic floors every day now leading up until birth xx

I've had this a few times, and second one one lady said about leaning forward when you pee - apparently it helps squeeze a bit more out... before you stand up!

I've done the whole leaning forward, backwards, sitting for a few minutes, wiping well - it all helps but I still leak a little x
