Im in 2 minds to buy one...

Im wanting to Breast feed but at nite my bed wont be too comfy to sit and breat feed as we have a gothic head board so not comfy to sit back against and when partner is on early shift i dont want to disturb him...
I could get up and feed her in the living room on our recliner chair but then when we have company i would like to go to another room to feed her...
But i keep saying to myself are they just too expensive for a few months use i dont know what to do lol!!!

I would like one too, but don't have the room, but may find room somewhere. I know you will only use for a while, but think about the positive of it, making life so much more comfy. You can always sell it on when you have finished with it.

My sister had a chair, I think from Ikea, which had an armrest on it and she swore by it. Have't found one like it though!

i didnt buy one, but then after zane was born i really wish i did. bf didnt work for us however it would of still been lovely to have one to feed him in and rock him to sleep when he was ill.

when i have another baby ile defo get one :)

i was gonna buy one... but decided against it.
too expensive when funds are tight... money can go on baby clothes, nappies nd chocolate!!
xxx

The one we were looking at getting is in mothercare... Im just thinking that i would like to be in another room when feeding her when his family come round lol!! and when he is on Earlies

I bought one from eBay. I can't wait to use it! Will be in our room to Starr so don't disturb oh as our bed is very squeaky at the mo!!

Then I thought it would be good for story/cuddle time in the nursery.

Taken care of they will sell again.

I got one of those Ikea chairs (with a footstool) which is alot cheaper than the nursing chairs!

Loz and Lily 2 yrs and bump 29 weeks

You can get bn ones on eBay 100 delivered. With recling stool. No way near prices of mothercare and m&p!!!

I was looking at the ikea chairs but we live miles away from the nearest one!

I've wondered about a chair too, the nursery is our bow room so no room for a proper rocking chair in there so I was thinking of getting a wicker chair with a cushion for the corner of the room. Breatfeeding sat on the edge of the bed does get painful on the back, esp when you are sometimes sat there for over half an hour, so I would recommend having somewhere up right to sit. x

Thanks well i think im gonna go and get one next week we have brought everything else its just the odd bits now...
Got new camera arriving on tues getting really excited at seeing everything coming together when few weeks back i was worrying that we had so much to do lol.

Thanks for ur repiles xx

I got one with a footstool from Ebay- loved them when we saw them at the Baby show but couldn't justify the expense. The one we got looks brand new and cost a fraction of the price- am really pleased with it

Theres always loads of eBay, I got one in very very good condition with the stool on eBay the other week for £41, save over £160!

I have it in the lounge, I'm going to relax/feed in there with him - company here or otherwise. I dont have the room to have it in our bedroom, so I'll sit in bed and feed him in the night with a big pile of pillows round me.

I wasn't going to buy one but I am glad I did - you can get brand new ones off ebay at cost to the original price - I paid £100.00 for a tuti bambini full price £170.00 and its fab very comfortable when im still there for 1/2 an hour to 45 mins a time

I wanted a nursing chair but decided it wa too expensive. Then out of curiosity had a peek on ebay and theres loads on there for fairly cheap so defo worth a look. I've seen some for pick up only for less than 30 quid.

We've saved absolutely hundreds by going on eBay. We were all set in Mothercare to buy everything brand new (the sales rep was rubbing her hands at us) but thought we'd have a look around. We got a full almost new Mothercare My3 travel system for £200 including car seat, which saved us £300. And a Lovely Mothercare cot, with a changing table and drawer for £60 I think, which saved us about £150+. And of course we saved £160 on the nursing chair. I think in total we saved about £600. And all the stuff we got was in mint condition. I can't believe we were about to buy all brand new when we really didnt need to.

I would love one, but funds are way too tight to consider one and I found last time that in the middle of the night the best way was to lay down on my side in bed and lay the baby down next to me in line with my breast with a towel underneath to breast feed. It worked, was quite comfy and I had a very dim light I had to put on in the bedroom so not to disturb OH.

Ive bought one, well my mum bought me one, its a Cosatto glider and its soooo comfy... I got mine off ebay I was lucky £62 and it was still perfect!! xx

I got the Hauck reclining/gliding chair plus matching footstool off ebay for £40! Lovely! seen them in John Lewis for over £270!
xx
