To the ladies who write on this site... thank you

I have become fanatical about this site. I know it is simply a coping mechanism to distract myself from thinking about February 10th, 2014 (blood test day.)As you can gather from the information contained in my signature, this journey has been a long one. I have posted before, explaining my story, and my grief. I have talked about my mad, my confusion, and my fear. A blanket tossing out to those who I have never met all the things I don’t want to say to those who know me. We become our obsessions eventually.

I read a post from a girl from several months ago that was laden with pain. I recognized the emotion as my own. I think sometimes when we sit in front of our screens and type away our aggressions and forget that those who take the time to respond or assist are also hurting and seeking comfort. I truly believe that grief cannot truly be answered, comforted, or soothed unless the one offering the comfort has some contextual understanding of the cause.

So I wanted to thank you, thank you to this person who I don’t know, whose pain mirrors my own. Thank you for listening to my fears and my mad. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to offer me a hand in my own struggle. I appreciate you more than you will ever know.
