Ladies I really new some help, I'm goin to my mil on Sunday and they're having my favourite dessert, toffee and pecan meringue roulade, so my question is can I eat it or is it a no go?

I can't see why not! a treat from once in a while is fine! :)

If it's home-made I'd check to see if the eggs have the Lion mark. If it's bought, tuck in and enjoy!!

My mouth's watering just thinking about it.

Meringues are cooked in any case so it makes no difference if eggs are stamped or not. Perfectly safe. x

I ate a whole one all by myself a couple of weeks ago, totally fine :-) xx

Crispy meringue is cooked all the way through, but gooey meringue is about as safe as runny fried/boiled eggs. It's a small risk but a risk all the same.

If you use Lion-stamp eggs and then go ahead and enjoy!!

lol ladies its so exciting. its shop brought (sainsbury's own if you wanna see what the fuss is about) lol

Err yes I want one. Now. *gets dressed & goes to sainsburys*!!
