My poor LO is really gassy and I'm wondering if his bottles were the main culprit. Tommee Tippee was recommended to me by 3 pediatricians so I took their word for it and used it for my LO. Has anyone had good/bad experiences with these? Thanks in advance:flower:

I got these bottles for my shower... I used it once and that was it! I hate how you have to hold it at a 90 degree angle. The first time we used htem I didnt know the hole had to be up top and I spilt my pumped milk all over my baby's face. I just pump into the medula ones and we use those!

i used the tommee tippee anti colic bottles u no the 1s with the tube running up the middle they were gr8 and id go out and id go buy them agen if i had another baby. xx

They helped my first with her gas and caused gas problems for my second. I think it's all based on your baby. I expected them to work great for my second since they did for my first but that wasn't the case. Dr browns work great for us.

Yeah we used TT because if the teat. But switched to dr browns because he had a bad case of trapped gas. In all honesty I think it was DH feeding him too quickly and not winding him during that caused it... But the bottle didn't help either.

It could be the bottle but some babies are just gassy in the early months. I have friend who spent a fortune on different bottles and in the end none made any difference. Most babies deal with wind a lot better by the time they are 3/4 months. That's not to say a change of bottle night not do the trick for your lo, but it might not change anything. I would give infacol a try, it really helped my lo part with trapped wind. Jx

We use the TT anti-colic bottles too, we've found them really good. But I agree it's usually down to the baby. But Noah had very bad trapped gas until we tried infacol - fabulous!

I used the tommee tippee and they do make them get trapped wind, I tried all the other brands and I found the best bottle I got was the glass born free ones. They are very similar to dr brown but the anti colic valve is way easier to clean and glass is way better!

We bought the full set of TT closer to nature & have always refused (with elder LO) not to buy Dr.Brown coz of price but I gave in & bought 1 to see if it helped, LO was very colicky even with infacol - the one bottle worked wonders & we kept using & sterilising it til I could go & buy the set, very expensive but colic 100% better. Dr.Browns are very fiddly & they can leak everywhere if not put on right & meausurements not clear enough on the side. I didn't know TT did a anti-colic version or I would have tried it before Dr.Brown as iv heard TT anti-colic just as good as Dr.Brown.
