Tommee Tippee Variflow Teats

Hi

I changed from using slow flow teats to using the variflow teats yesterday but I have noticed my daughter is being 'sick' more often after finishing her bottles

Is this a common thing or is it because she is getting too much milk, too quickly or is it because she needs less milk in her bottle??

Not sure - babies do tend to be sick after a feed though, it might be that she's taken too much in.

Personally I think the variflow teats are rubbish... LO was struggling on size 1 TT teats, he was tiring himself out sucking so hard to get the milk out. So I switched to size 2 and he's much happier. MW and HV told me that variflow adapts to the child but we tried and they were useless IMO.

It might be that she is used to the size 1 teats so she is still sucking hard and because of this the variflow teat is letting too much milk out - like if you gulped down too much pop you might feel a bit sick.

Keep her on the variflow for a while longer and if no improvement then try size 2... that way it's letting more milk out but not too much if that makes sense xx

Logan's sick after using variflow teats too. I put him on stage 2 he's rarely sick at all. He went on these teats at a month old as he droppe his milk intake on stage 1s as they weren't fast enough and he was annoyed and lazy with them lol xx
