Tongue Tie Petition - UK ladies.

Hi Ladies,

Saw this on another forum, thought I'd post it here too.

I know this is the formula feeding section but I'm sure there are many of you who gave up breast feeding due to latching issues/pain. Tongue tie is a very common cause. It is no longer routinely checked and can go completely missed. It is easy to treat if diagnosed.

I posted in the BF section too but just want to say that even if you bottle feed TT can still be an issue if it is really bad. It was with my son. So ALL babies need to be checked whether mums want to BF or not (although obviously it's vital for BF'ed babies). So get signing people! X

I've only seen it as a problem for BF but of course it can affect both.

I was just about to say that - so many people and support organizations are under the impression that TT and LT only affects BF. When I was struggling with LO and his reflux which I still believe was caused by a lip tie I contacted Milk Matters and they weren't interested in helping me as he was FF
