My midwife mentioned at my appointment today that baby is sitting very high up and breech, I must admit I hadn't thought about this at all (despite all her kicks being low down) and assumed 24 weeks was far to early to worry about it, but the fact she mentioned it has got me a bit worried :(

Just wondered about everyone elses experiences?

LO still has plenty of time to turn round. I wouldnt worry
xx

still got plenty of time and space to turn around, don't worry :)
xx

I was also told my baby was breech at my 20 weeks scan..but like others have said your baby still has alot of time to turn so don't start worrying until you get to 36 weeks and your baby is still breech lol...some babies are breech and turn back to how they should be before birth whilst yehh i know...Some don't but try not to worry as whatever your baby does you can't stop unfortunitly, but yehh i wont start worrying until um 35-36 weeks along and also then they can help you try to get the baby to turn

my baby was breech up until 32 weeks..thats when i had my midwife appointment & from being breech she was all of a sudden head down and 3/5 engaged! so i wouldnt no way worry yourself yet:)x

my LO was breech at 19w3d. She's head down now. Must be a halloween baby thing, scaring us like that!

Thanks girls, done quite a bit of googling and found loads of women whose LOs didn't turn till past 30 weeks so feeling quite a bit better

I can't believe it just never occurred to me before now, but as you've said all the worrying in the world isn't going to change what she gets up to in there so guess I'll just have to wait and see :flower:

yea.. there's plenty of time. my freidns baby was breech and she went in to get a c-section at 38 weeks and her LO wasn't breech anymore! so it just goes to show it can turn really late. :flower:

My baby was always breech. Until my appt at 36 weeks he told me she turned :D no need to worry.

I am sure you have time, I am pretty sure my baby is laying sideways as I can feel what I think is a butt on one side and her head on the other, lol, the doctors have never mentioned anything to me about it and I am almost 29 weeks. I think in most cases the baby turns head down around 36 weeks.

A lot of babies are breech around this time, they still have lots of room :)

They only get you to start getting baby to turn once you go over 32 weeks and are still breech I think xxx
