So we've been trying to get LO EBF which has been an ordeal lol but it's slowly coming along... But now we seem to be plateauing at 15oz of formula a day. It's less than half of what she was at before which is awesome! ...But still not EBF so not great.

So, for I think two and a half weeks I've been taking fenugreek 2 cap 3x a day. For two weeks I've been taking Motherlove's More Milk Plus 2 cap 3x a day and drinking a cup of Mother's Milk Tea every night. For a week I've been taking Gaia Lactation Support 1 cap 3x a day. And two days ago I started up on prenatals again since a LC recommended it. Still, all this week she's been at 15oz. There was two days we got her down to 13 but it was with a ton of crying and putting off feeding and I felt terrible and stressed and I know stress affects supply so I figured pushing it just wasn't worth it.

So, today I'm up-ing my tea to 2 glasses a day (I really hate the stuff lol). I read about Goat's Rue and how that creates prolactin receptors whereas everything else just makes prolactin but if you don't have enough receptors it won't be effective. Anyone have any experience with that?

Also, I'm sort of worried I'm taking too many supplements. I can't find anywhere that says what the max amount of all these different things I'm taking should be per day and since I'm combining them it feels sort of like mixing liquors lol you don't know how strong the result will be until you've had a couple glasses and find out you're completely drunk.:drunk: I'm debating finishing out the Gaia and thinking I'll give it another week and then leave it on the shelf because I haven't seen any changes since I started taking it. But then I'm also worried about stopping anything because there has been SOME progress and I'd hate to go down on my supply again.

She's bfing allllllll day and alllll night and she abhors the fake stuff now that she knows the real thing so I'm desperate to get it up. I don't even want to leave the house without her anymore because I know she'll have to get formula when I'm away at school or somewhere and that's just a little less bfing she'll be doing that day. :nope:

I'm not sure but hopefully someone with more knowledge can answer xx

I'm on the GAIA too and I have seen increase in supply, before,LO would be feeding and unlatch and I coud get her back on the breast easily now I have to do it super fast because I squirt everywhere!!! I'm also on a tea that I only drink once a day.

I'm so jealous!!! I'm seriously dreaming of the day that could happen for us lol. Right now shell eat for a couple of minutes and when the breast gets real soft and empty shell start bobbing off and on and fussing trying to get more out and when i pull her away to burp she screeeeams!!

How long did it take to work for you? It's only been a week that's why I haven't given up on it just yet.

I think I have been on it for about 2 and a half weeks, my story is a little long I was supplementing at night time and exclusively pumping for the first 3 weeks as my LO wouldn't latch, after that I cut out the formula at night and gave her BM in a bottle but got her back on the breast during the day with a nipple shield after a week I ditch the bottle at night and started feeding her from the breast with shield. We have been off the shield for about 3 weeks and I can tell you what works best to have a great supply is to feed feed feed your LO. It has been super hard for us but totally worth it. Your LO is still very little it is normal for them to get fussy at the breast but keep feeding this is what will bring your supply up to her needs. Best of luck xx
