Too scared to test!

Hello all,
We've been TTC for 18 months, to no avail. We've been to the Fertility Clinic at the local hospital where we were told there was nothing wrong with either of us and just to keep trying. So we did.

And now this month, I'm currently on day 37 of my cycle, which is not normally this long. It's been a bit erratic recently though. Anyway, my husband has come home with a pregnancy test for me and I'm too scared to take it! Every time I do, they just destroy my hopes with a negative. Is that silly?

How long do you think I should leave it?

I know exactly how you feel. I am 4 days overdue for Af today and am terrified to test.

A co-worker said to me today I should test and get it over with, if it's positive than yay and if it isn't then at least we can prepare for another shot next month and are no longer in limbo.

So, I am going to wait until the morning to give it my best shot and test. Best of luck if you test as well. Keep me informed please hun.

Hey girls I also am 3 days later and scared to do a test as if its a bfn ill be gutted again!! I've been having cramps so think its coming, good luck to u xx

i know exactly how you guys feel. seeing that bfn is the worst thing in the world to me.

maybe wait a day or so just in case af shows up!

Hi girls, I too am scared to do a test, my af is 3 days late now and been having cramps so think its coming although if I do a test and its a bfn ill be gutted again. Not been trying as long as u but so worried it will take forever.

Well, I did it. And.............BFP! I don't believe it. I don't think I will until I've seen a midwife in about 3 weeks! But I'm sending lots of happy thoughts in your directions, ladies. Good luck and let me know how it turns out

Huge congrats hun. I bought a test last night to do this morning. However AF had other plans. I started spotting this morning, it hasn't progressed yet but the cramps are leading me to believe it's a proper AF visit.

Ah well there's always another month
