totally off topic but its driving me crazy!!!

ok random!
pubic hair! ok i know im gonna shave around the due date.. and obviously before, reguarly..
but shaved my pubic hair and ive never had it itchy like this now ive read a few things can any one help?
this is what ive heard
dont shave it bald'' do it so its really short
shave when dry not wet...

any help?

The one I've heard that helps, is always shave with the direction of the hair, not against it.

If you aren't looking for totally smooth skin, you could try an electric shaver. I have and inexpensive one from Wal-Mart, and it works great. Otherwise, if you are completely shaving it off, you want to use warm/hot water, (not enough to burn or make you uncomfortable) shaving cream, and a good razor. Shave with the grain of the hair, not against, because shaving against the grain can introduce bacteria into the skin, which causes ingrown hairs, itching, and irritation. Rinse all shaving cream completely off, and follow up with a good moisturizer afterward to keep the skin soft. Try not to use anything that would clog your pores. I like to use Bikini Zone gel, which you can probably find at any major drugstore.
