Tots Bots v4 issues

I bought a 3 pack of Tots Bots v4 velcro tabs at Tescos a few months back. I have a lot of v2 & v3s, and really like them. However with the v4s Im finding that I really struggle to get a good fit at lo's tummy. I often have to lie him down again and readjust as the fit is poor at his tummy, either a big gape or the velcro is folding inwards and rubbing his tummy leaving red marks. Ive never had this issue. Also the binky fabric of the nappy and booster is hard now. I dont have a tumble drier and always line dry where possible. When I put the booster in the nappy looks very bulky and the booster is very visible even through his clothes. I think its due to the binky fabric having become harder. Anyone else have this issue or any advice?
