what does it feel like?
how do you know whether or not it is a trapped nerve?

i started a few months back with a pain in my right shoulder, i hadnt lifted anything, i thought maybe i had lifted M funny, or slept on my arm, so i went to the Dr he prodded and poked then gave me some strong pain killers, that strong i also had to take anti-gastro tablets for it, the pain went in a few days and the tablets made me feel like poo. i thought nothing more of it.
a bout 2 or 3 week ago the pain started again, i cant explain where it is, it kind of covers the whole of my shoulder but when i was at the Drs he said its actually my neck (the pic probably doesnt help much but im pointing to the main source of pain.
it hurts when i move my arm, lift my arm, even when i lift something up thats soo light, when i pick M up i use my left hand and always hold him on my left side, when i pick him up it sends a sharp pain in my neck/shoulder, it also hurts when i just sit and not move again its like a stabbing, sharp pain, and it also hurts when i breathe (not constant, msinly when i breathe in but mainly after ive been walking or been doing something..

ive taken some anti-inflammatory which my OH was given for a broken bone, they took away my p pains but not the pain in my neck/shoulder, i defo dont want to take the tablets the Dr gave me and tbh i cba going to the Drs to be fobbed off as per usual!
