treating thrush

I am (hopefully) recovering from a bout of thrush I was given a one off dose of Flucanazole (sp.) which seems to be doing the trick I'm not in pain any more and bubs symptoms seem to have cleared up too (very mild to start off with)

what I was wondering was is it safe to use Clotimazole cream on my breasts while breastfeeding? Just to give things a helping hand as I really don't want to go through that again and I've since found out that a one off dose of Flucanazole is not always very good at clearing thrush on nipples completely. I already have some canesten extra strength cream left from a previous bout of thrush down below.

You can use Clotrimazole, but you have to wash it off before feeding. = \

Make sure both you and baby receive treatment even if no signs in baby a lot of GPS don't realise this but you both need to be treated or the cycle can begin again x
