I am (hopefully) recovering from a bout of thrush :( I was given a one off dose of Flucanazole (sp.) which seems to be doing the trick :) I'm not in pain any more :) and bubs symptoms seem to have cleared up too (very mild to start off with)

what I was wondering was is it safe to use Clotimazole cream on my breasts while breastfeeding? Just to give things a helping hand as I really don't want to go through that again :( and I've since found out that a one off dose of Flucanazole is not always very good at clearing thrush on nipples completely. I already have some canesten extra strength cream left from a previous bout of thrush down below.

You can use Clotrimazole, but you have to wash it off before feeding. = \

Make sure both you and baby receive treatment even if no signs in baby a lot of GPS don't realise this but you both need to be treated or the cycle can begin again x
