trigger shot and life

Tomorrow is trigger day at noon!! YAY! ( my 1st time). The problem is ill be on my bike ride of 47mi. Should i stop and give myself the shot or wait until we are at the destination past noon? How should i keep the shot cold?

Anyone else run into this? Being away from home but needing to trigger.

Hi!
The trigger shot is very important and should be done at the exact time your doctor instructs you too bc the retrieval is based on that. I would suggest keeping it with an ice pack, stopping and doing the shot.

Im not doing a retrieval, IUI, IVF...im doing timed intercourse.

I decided those throw away ice packs for 1st aide- you know those ones that you pop and they go cold. The pamplet says you can have it at room temp so it should be ok...i hope. Ill put it in my back jersey pocket.

Im SUPER nervous!

Heres what i did for anyone interested:

I took it out of the fridge about 830 and put it in an old hard eyeglass case with the alcohol wipe. I took along an ice pack too for icing my stomach ( on of those throw away ones ). At 11:30 I attempted to break the ice pack but it wouldnt! At Noon, i stopped along the bike trail at a bench.

I wiped the area.
I pinched on the left side of my belly button.
I didnt know - do i go fast? slow? So I first tried to go slow and the inital poke it pinched, like a bee sting. So i stopped.
I took a deep breathe and did it again but faster.
In she went.

Now im PUPO!

yep! ( ive been stalking you but not replying!). We are going TI/Trigger/FE for Oct and Nov, then NTNP Dec. Next year is in the wind right now.
