trouble changing avatar

I was just trying to change my avatar pic, and when I hit save changes this is the message I got:
Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing.

If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error.

I have no idea what this means? Any help from admin would be much appreciated
