My fiancé and I have been TTC for 2 years with no luck. Confirmed by docs that I have PCO (without the S!). Lack of periods means I have to induce them with Provera when they want to do more tests. Have been referred to Gyno who has prescribed 50mg Clomid. I finished round#1 and blood tests were negative.
Side effects of Clomid meant I've spent a month on the verge of tears!!
"Mood swings" 
doesn't cover it!! After finishing the first round, I went for a day 21 blood test the results were that I hadn't ovulated (sorry, don't know the acronyms used on here yet??!). Have really hit a low. Can't face seeing friends who are expecting. Don't know if these are drawn out side effects! Had a lot of hope that these would work, after not believing I would conceive naturally, so negative result for round#1 has really knocked me! Have been given ok for Provera to induce a bleed, then double the dose of Clomid, scared that this won't work either!!
