Hello everyone my name is Alicia, and I'm trying to conceive baby #1. Everyone feel free to tell me what you're doing or using to help conceive your little miracle.
After one year of not trying not preventing I'm starting to wonder if my fiance and I are suffering from some underlying fertility issues.. I mean even though we weren't "actually" trying it's weird because how many 15 year olds do you see walking around pregnant from just one condom slip up? Crazy right? Anyways I do have irregular periods (or long cycles 45+ days) which I always thought was a blessing because I always have hated periods but now that I'm actually trying to conceive I am trying to cut down my cycle length... So I started taking Vitex (chasteberry) this month along with evening primrose oil (for fertile cm I always have a thicker cm?), and B6..fiance is taking fertilityblend for men. Anyway feel free to enlighten me if I am doing something wrong... I'm so ready to see a BFP! (CURRENTLY CD 13)

Hi Alicia!

Congrats on TTC! Sounds like you're already tracking your AF, so that's good. My AF kept the same schedule I'd been on after 10 yrs BCP, so my cycle is pretty much 26-28 days.

Yeah, it seems like it will be easy, and it gets frustrating when you don't see a BFP the first month you want to see it.

I would just say start tracking cm if you aren't already. I'm not big on OPKs, and I just decided to start temping and bought a digital thermometer yesterday.

Welcome, and babydust!

wss^^

looking at cm helps. With irregular cycles.. it's good to use BBT to take your temperature every morning and also to use OPK to help make sure you don't miss your window~

I bought those clearblue digital that shows a smiley face if it detects a surge and a blank circle if no surge is detected.

Thank you ladies for commenting. (: I will look into the cb opks... I'm currently using wondfo's lol.
