Trying to conceive and progesterone pills

Hi

I have been trying to conceive for two years now. After finally getting pregnant, I ended up having a miscarriage back in January.

I have been doing follow up ultrasound scans with the doc and she has been telling me when im ovulating
She put me on progesterone pills on day 14 and said to continue for 10 days and then stop and see if a period comes, if not that means im preggo.

Im wondering though, if i stop the pills and im possibly pregnant wont that affect me. And has anyone tested for pregnancy while still on the progesterone pills? I dont want to stop and end up having a miscarriage again because of that. Help!

Hey there,
I got the same thing, doc put me on natural progesterone pill on 15th day (3 more days left) and told me to use it for 12 days and then do a blood test...
I dont think you should stop the pill, do a test first... Thats my plan,at least. If its a BFN definitely on 28 day, I'll stop using it..

Do you also have like ALL of the pregnancy symptoms? I have dizziness, nausea, cravings, everything... But unfortunately, I am pretty sure its only progesterone Will see though...

I would take a test before stopping the Progesterone, a sudden drop cant be good for pregnancy, thats just my opinion though. Also, unfortunately, the SE from Progesterone are the same as Pregnancy symptoms. I was on Provera for 10 days for 3 months after I didnt ovulate and I was on Utrogestan for 30 days during pregnancy.

@nita2806 this is just devastating.. when I had ectopic pregnancy I felt just the same as on these pills.. I feel so bad having wrong pregnant feeling, but lovely examples like yours zare what keeps me going and believing every single day.. !!

Hey, I have been TTC for 5 months now and don't want to go on progesterone yet because of all the side effects, will wait a few months to see what happens
