Trying to determine next step with Azoo..

We have a zoo with no hope given for success if we tried an mTese.

Our three choices are:
-No Baby
-Donation
-Adoption


I have a hard time with adoption, dh has a hard time with donation.

He's not in a very talkative mood.

What has been successful for others?

Pros/cons of others' choices?

I'm a teacher and as such don't make a ton of money...

I'm really sorry to hear that. We were given an option of donation as well unless we were up for ivf. We decided to try ivf first. Dh was very against donation too, it's such a blow to their ego. but I see it working for so many people, less expensive, and nearly the same as adoption only you get to carry the baby! Maybe he can get on board eventually, he may just need time to process it. I don't know if you are in the US but theres a reality show, Quints By Surprise, they used donor sperm and have 5 babies and they are so in love with them, you would never know!
I think it just takes some time after getting a diagnosis to process and makes decision.

So sorry to read your post. my hubby and i were just discussing this at the weekend, were due have ICSI with donor this summer but he had a wobble on sat as we were told anther friend is pregnant, he said "what if it doesn't work" so the options:
No baby or
Adoption!
Thankfully my hubby was open to Donor quickly as he said he had always envisioned himself as a dad and doesn't see a dad as THE sperm provider he sees a dad as THE provider financially, caring and bringing up! it doesn't stop the worrying though and the what ifs.

my advise list your options and work through them, if you no you never want to live without or at least try you know n baby is option 3, the other 2 needs lots of talking and whats best for you both.
