Hi,

My husband and I started trying to get pregnant. I am 35 and hubby is 38. We've always practiced safe sex and I didn't take any birth control pills ever. Just when we got married I took the depo shot and that did not go over well with my body. We've been trying to get pregnant for a year now and I've had two misscariages. They were only about a month into what I can tell but the second one I definitely felt it since the cramp were really bad and I started bleeding. It's been hard and frustrating. I'm healthy, workout regularly, eat well and take the vitamins. I've done acupuncture and been to the chiropractor and all the test I've taken are fine. I do have the Rh negative factor. Any suggestions? I want to try to do this natural way .... Iryna

Have you had any tests run by your doctor to see why you may have hast the miscarriages? If it was something like low progesterone you could supplement (I do this but have never gotten pregnant).

I don't believe the rH would impact anything at that point if you haven't had any prior children as I think the issue occurs through delivery and then only impacts subsequent pregnancies.

Hoping for the best for you! I can't imagine the heartbreak of a miscarriage.

That's actually not true...if the mother is Rh negative and for some reason the child is Rh positive, when the cells bury into the lining to connect to the mother and the fetal pole is being made the mother's auto immune system will attack it and kill it. It will see it as a foreign threat, but this happens rarely that the fetus is Rh positive and the mother is Rh negative. Still happens though, here this talks about it more.
