Hi

After 8 yrs ttc and a recent diagnosis of PCOS, I've finally been given Clomid.

It's now been 8 wks since my last AF and last week I started to have brown discharge when I wiped, however this has been coming and going all week. It has been pink on and off today but not enough to require a liner/tampon. I have read on here that you aren't supposed to start the tablets until AF's in full flow. I'm tempted to class this as CD1 and start my Clomid tomorrow (CD2). What do you think?

I would really appreciate some wisdom from you ladies as I am clearly lost!

Thanks x

Hi Izzy82,

I had exactly the same thing this month and didn't have a clue what my dates were. I ended up calling the hospital on what I thought should be my day 2 and therefore should start the Clomid, they got my consultant to call me (and bless him he did within about 5mins!) and he said to count that day as my day 1 and see what happens the following day. Luckily AF started properly during the night so was able to start the Clomid. If you're unsure I'd definitely call your clinic/doctor and see what they say.

Thanks for replying :flower:

This whole Clomid experience is terrifying and exciting all at the same time! I just want to get it right as I'm only allowed to take them for 6 months. It seems that whatever was happening has stopped because I have had nothing today. It must have been my AF which means having to wait another 7 wks to start my Clomid

I have an app with my FS this Thursday so hopefully he will tell me what's happening.

Thanks again x
