can anyone help?

I have my P45 from my agency and need to send in details for ctc, so if figure was £2000 (its not but for workings out sake) how do I work this out from April 11 - when I went on Mat leave?

Bearing in mind I was paid weekly so holidays were taken into consideration so I cant simply divide and do an average as it has to be correct doesnt it? And I know at least of the payments inc in the weeks as I didnt get paid as much as on honeymoon and didnt have enough hol pay.

I need to submit the figures, can anyone help?

xx

When it comes to agency and holiday pay, the agency pay you a holiday wage within your basic wage. In this sense when you do the calculations for ctc you will include your basic pay and your holiday pay, as you would with a normal employer. Hope that helps a little.

Holiday pay is part of your income so it all needs to be included for tax credits purposes.
If you worked at the agency from April 2011 then the P45 figure is your total income from the agency - HMRC want an annual figure anyway so you don't need to work out a weekly or monthly rate.
If you received SMP then you would need to inform HMRC of the number of weeks you received it up to April 2012 and they should deduct £100 per week off your income for each week you received it. The SMP would be included on your P45 income and would count towards your annual income.
I assume that you are getting maternity allowance though?
I don't think HMRC take that into account so you can tell them but it shouldn't count towards your annual income.

im not getting maternity allowance im getting smp, so on my p45 i just use my total

but my p45 goes upto when i went on maternity leave as in the dates and figures so do I still deduct £100 a week off the totals I have on my p45?
