TTC #1 And first time using forums :)

Hi ladies just a little about me. I'm not totally clued up about all the abbreviations but will try my best!

I'm 26 and have been married for 18 months to my OH and we have been TTC #1 since Jan 2014. I was on the depo-jab for just under 3 years, my last jab was in dec 2012 and have had at least 10 months of regular cycles average 26 days. I also have just started using Clear Blue Fertility Monitor this month, I haven't had much luck with the cheap OPKs. I haven't had luck checking my CM either (I never see the egg white stuff that you're supposed to look for).

Any advice would be welcome!

You'll get used to telling the difference with time, don't worry. Soon you'll know far more than you ever wanted to know about CM.

If you aren't noticing any cm in your panties, you could always check your cervical position too (throughout your cycle it will be low and hard- like the tip if your nose; during ovulation it will be higher and soft- like your lips). That's how I started to notice my cm and sure enough cd14 there was ewcm. Also, if you tend to be dry you might want to think about trying preseed. It's a sperm friendly lube. I'm thinking about ordering some this month. This is my second cycle ttc #1 so I'm pretty new at this too.

Lol, I know! I was so stressed and worried last month because it was my first month off bcp in 8 years, so I just imagined the worse, but my cycle was 29 days and I ovulated, so I guess I can't complain too much, since some women have a much harder time getting everything back in working order. I'm hoping for a more relaxed approach this month and hopefully I get my BFP soon. DH and I have been married for 6 years so we really feel like it's time. 2 of my sisters conceived while on bc and now I fear that since I'm the first one actively trying, it's going to take forever! That tww was miserably long, just waiting and wondering, HA.

GL Khigg lots of baby dust to you! I went to pharmacy yesterday and got Balance-Activ, they didn't have PreSeed in stock turns out it's a really good product! I got the spray, sounds bizarre but it's really easy to use, (got the stretchy stuff! TMI sorry) it's had real good reviews on the web too

I know how you feel about others being pregnant or easily conceiving I have had 2 announcements from friends who weren't even trying, I'm happy for them but I'm envious it's not me!

Try to relax is good advice but easier said than done, especially when you're the only one getting a BFN, and as much as I love my mother in law she knows we are TTC and she keels asking if I'm preg yet..!

Awesome! I'll have to see if my pharmacy carries it they were out of preseed and I haven't gotten around to ordering it yet.

I had a friend announce on fb the day AF showed. The most annoying thing was my app kept lagging and freezing and showing that story in the top if my newsfeed. It was frustrating to say the least.

DH and I made the decision not to tell anyone (except my sisters) just to keep our nerves at ease, but my mom came over one night and I definitely did not think to move my mini stock pile of cheapie preg test and OPKs. So I'm pretty sure she knows because nobody has more than 1 test lying around unless they are ttc.

Hi Divine and Khigg! Have yall thought about temping? I just started halfway through this cycle and it's very handy to know about when you've ovulated. What CD are yall on?

I'm on cd3 so I have some decisions to make and soon. I'm going to use OPKs this month, but I haven't started temping, because I feel like I'll over analyze everything (especially in the tww). Another reason I haven't started is because I have pretty strong O cramps and BDing often isn't an issue for DH and I. Do I really need to temp since that's the case? I'd love some feed back/opinions.

I think it's up to you, Khigg, whether or not to temp. I haven't been, and I'm planning on trying it for a cycle or two just to make sure that I O. If nothing has happened for us by this August, I want some data to bring to my dr so we can make informed choices. I'm not opk'ing, so I want something to go on besides cm.

I'm with you on the craziness, and trying to avoid that.

i had two very long (60+ day cycles) since stopping my birth control pills in november 2013 so excited to finally be starting a new cycle. would love to hear everyones progress! i think i may try some opks this cycle...

You poor thing! I stopped my pills feb 8th and my first cycle was 29 days. I've never been happier to see AF! I'm fairly certain I O'd base off of the cramps, ewcm, and my cp, but I'm going to use OPKs this month to confirm.

Ive also heard concieve plus is a good product? It doesn't hurt to try these products, excuse the pun

DH and I have BD since CD8 everyday apart from last night, I showing signs of Post Ovulation, white creamy stuff in knickers (TMI sorry)

So I guess I'm in the TWW now?

I found preseed at Walgreens tonight and just bought it. Well that's a lie, I stood in the aisle for like 10 minutes trying to convince myself $20 was ridiculous for lube and not to buy it, but I want a sticky bean and was so dry last night, I thought I was going to die, but refused to use spit. Haha.
