Husband and I have been TTC since 08/13 (When I stopped BC and using condoms). We are in our 20's. 5 years ago I was on my period for 9 weeks straight, heavy bleeding, painful. After dropping 80 lbs, doc put me on BC and called it an iron deficiency, never ran any definitive tests. After stopping, periods have been somewhat regular. Start dates lately have been way off... 11/16/2014 to 12/20/2014 and then 1/30/15! Not sure what is happening, stopped trying a month ago from stress of disappointment. Now we want to try again, and don't want to be put on any chemical alternatives. Going to start tracking BBT and CM again this cycle. Help? Advice? Next step? Much appreciated.

you really need to get to the root of your problem and fix that before ttc. If you have an iron deficiency you may want to get blood work done to see where that (and everything else is) Once you rule out any major (or minor) problems you can start working on balancing your hormones. I suggest naturalfertilityshop.com read all the articles!!! Personally I was very anemic (due to another condition) but once I got that under control I figured out I was progesterone dominant. Vitex, red raspberry leaf tea, red clover all got my period back and normal! I'm now taking maca and royal jelly blend and it's working wonderfully. Good luck.
