Hi, i'm new to this forum. I live in Dominican Republic, I'm 23 years old and i'm trying to concieve. I'm gonna make this kind of long but hope you don't get tired and could help me.
I got my first period at 9 years old, always regular, except for 2 or 4 cycles that went irregular. So, i was told i needed surgery for a pilonidal cyst (ingrown hair in the coccys), i had all the test and then, they discovered i had hypothyroidism (Completely on control now).
A month later, i got my green light to go into surgery. the surgery coincide with the weekend i wwas supposed to get my period (Surgery on friay - period on saturday). but the period never came.. for about 6 - 7 months, i thought it was normal but as i had severe pains, i told my surgeon who referred my to an OB/GYN but (should've known better) didn't go and instead asked my endocrinologist and she sent me for a u/s, progesterone, strogen and all that tests.. My ovaries were normal, my uterus on normal size, no sign of cyst or fibroid. So, she said i had secondary amenorrhea and prescribed Miprox 5mg for the first 7 days every month, when i stopped taking it, i had my period 4 days after (I had taking it for about 2 years and a half).
My wound hasn't heal completely, so i bleed almost every day when i'm sit for long time. Now, my husband and i are trying to concieve our fist child. We've been having unprotected sex since our first time (a year and a half). Sometimes he didn't finished there, but others he did. I don't know what to do. I need some advice! Made an appointment but still 2 weeks left.
