Hi mamas and soon to be mamas!
I'm back! I was on BNB religiously when TTC with my daughter (and previous to that with our miscarriage). Didn't think I would get here, ever LOL. I have an almost 2 year old (July 5, 2018). For the first year of her life I was pretty certain I would never do that again! I had a hard pregnancy, she was breech, I discovered I have a uterine malformation (more on that below), we struggled to breastfeed and I had PPD. I thought...never again! And here we are, ready to try for #2. I'm nervous!
My daughter was breech and we discovered during my scheduled csection with her that I have a unicornuate uterus (a pretty rare uterus malformation that basically means I have half a uterus). My OB warned me that any future pregnancy is high risk so OF COURSE I'm nervous. We had a miscarriage before my daughter and each time it took us about 2 months to become pregnant, so we didn't struggle there, but I have a lot of anxiety about going through another loss, a high risk pregnancy (I've been googling all the potential complications of course). Anyone else high risk?
Anyway! I'm not tracking anything this month, I'm due to ovulate sometime this week (I'm CD 11 currently, with my daughter I always O'd around CD 13-15 but my cycles have lengthened a bit since her birth, from about 28-29 days to 30ish days and less consistent, sometimes 31 sometimes 29, sometimes 32, so I know that my cycle may have changed). My period tracker app (not necessarily super reliable) predicts ovulation on Saturday, so we plan to get at it every day this week and see what happens! I'll start tracking next month
I'm excited and terrified to be back and contemplate adding another baby to our family but it feels right!
Is anyone else high risk?! what is your pregnancy like? I've been googling and feel a bit overwhelmed!
