Ttc 2 weeks after d&c..anyone else with me??

looking for a buddy in my crazy journey...had MMC at 11+6 and baby was 8+5..had d and c 16 days ago stopped bleeding after 9 days and now TTC.. had first unprotected sex last night - TMI!!
i know docs says wait one cycle but i believe and hope it wont stick if my body inst ready and may take a while anyway but after googling alot i have read lots and lots of success stories on pregnancy before period after d and c.. and also studies on it too

anyone in the same boat??

It's been much longer since my D&C because my body has stubbornly held onto hcg, but I am in the same boat. Too impatient to wait! I'm told that there's really no medical reason to. It just makes dating easier if you get pregnant.

Hi Emma

So sorry for your loss. We found out about our mmc at the 10 week scan when bump only measured 6+4 with no heartbeat.

I had my d&c 3 weeks ago and everything went really well with no pain afterwards and only light spotting for the following 2 weeks.

I took a hpt yesterday and it was almost negative with just a faint positive line that was barely there. I haven't had af yet but this was our first pregnancy so DH and I are DESPERATE to start trying again.

There is so much information out there about how long to wait before TTC again and it all seems different. To go through another miscarriage would be devastating but there are so many posts from ladies who have had healthy pregnancies and conceived right after their d&c, so I think we are going to hold on to those positive experiences and go for it! xxx

i have heard and read a study on it is only for dating purposes not medically - and if your d and c went well no complications then your womb will be favorable for a future pregnancy for the next 3 months as your womb is smooth

im too holding on to the postive stories... i keep getting slight af cramps though and spots appearing so not sure if im due on
but last night i swear i had ovlation pains!!

we kast night again no protection so will see how it goes

if i dont catch this month means my body isnt ready..

Hi ladies , I had a mmc in dec 12 at 13 weeks . I fell pg again 4 months later and now have beautiful baby boy . Trying to convienced oh to go again !!

Good luck ladies I'm sorry you had to go through this , its tough but there is oodles of hope . Give yourself time to heal emotionally and when your ready go for it you are only asked to wait as the post said above for dating purposes

Hi all I will be planning to start the next ovulation. All of you here have had a mmc and looks like you had d and c. Did you wait to see if it happened naturally? We found out Friday at 9 weeks baby stopped growing at 7 weeks they have said to wait for 10 days and then if not we will go in. Also for any of you who waited naturally was it painfully? Not sure what to expect? Thanks

We are going to try tonight for the first time since my d&c - very excited but also scared it might hurt as its only been 3 weeks.

I don't think Ive had any signs of af yet but based on my previous cycles I should be ovulating this week if day 1 was the date of d&c!

I also don't want to get my hopes up that it might happen straight away but if we don't try we will never know - fingers crossed xxx

I found at 11 weeks 1day baby had stopped griwing at 8 Week 5 days
And had to wait until 11 weeks 6 until d and c but had no bleeding or anything so could of been waiting weeks until natural and didn't want to go thru it
It's by choice reality but the d n c was pretty painless

I'd been bleeding 5.5 weeks by the time I got my D&C, and had lost one for sure 4 weeks prior. I was still testing at 15,000 hcg at the time of my D&C. They found a retained blighted ovum and decided to do the procedure because I wasn't clearing that one out on my own. Should've been twins.

Hi Smurfy - so sorry for your loss

Ours was a mmc and I found out at my 10 week scan that the baby had stopped growing at 6+4. Because I didn't have any symptoms or signs of a miscarriage and there was no way of knowing how long it would take before it started to pass naturally, I decided to have the d&c.

This was 3 weeks ago and since then I haven't had any bleeding or pain other than light spotting on and off for the first 2 weeks

Hello ladies.
I'm new here. So sorry for everyone's loss! I was pregnant with our third in august. November 17th, i went in because i couldn't find his heartbeat with my doppler. Doc couldnt find it either so did an U/S and my world shattered! My baby had stopped growing at 13 wks but lived through 14 wks. I had a D&C November 21st. I was induced the night of Nov 19th with 200 mg Cytotec every 3 hrs through thursday night when they upped it to 400 mg every 3-4 hrs due to no change in my cervix, only bleeding once and no cramping. My doc inserted seaweed sticks friday morning in hopes of helping it along but to no avail. I had the D&C that night. I didnt have any cramping at all afterwards and minimal bleeding. We started TTC again Nov 29th. I was testing my levels to see them go down. I finally got negative tests from Dec 9-12. I just got a faint positive yesterday and today. I am going in to get my levels drawn tomorrow morning.
