Hello.

I lost my son at 17 weeks and had a D&E a week ago. I am ready to work on another child, but doctor said to wait. It took a while to have the first one and I want to start now so we can fill that gap.

I am not sure how long to wait to be safe for a healthy pregnancy.

Any advice?

thank you!!!

Hi baby2, so sorry for your loss. I lost my son at 15 weeks on August 21st. My OB told me we didn't have to wait, that it was up to us. She says they recommend waiting to ensure you're emotionally ready.

I'm very sorry for your loss. We lost a little girl at 19 weeks naturally and were advised to wait three months before trying again but that was advice specifically for our situation, you know what's best for you and your body. How long did it doctor suggest waiting? I really hope you get your rainbow very soon. There's a whole section full of ladies ttc after a loss. I always found them lovely and made a lot of friends there when I was ttc after my losses.
