TTC and yeast infections...

Hey there..

Tmi probably, but I just ovulated yesterday and now feel a yeast infection coming on. Are medicines such as monistat okay to use or will it affect the ttc process or harm my chances of conceiving now that I've ovulated?

Hey hun. I had a YI last cycle (a day before ovulation). My biggest fear was that there was no EWCM, therefore swimmers couldn't get through to my little eggie because of how thick my discharge was.

I did see a GP who prescribed me Fluconazole, but said it was okay (and even recommended taking Monistat). I think he said to get the 3 or 7 day one over the 1-day one or something like that.
