Hiya there everyone,, i am new to this site so finding it all a bit strange at the minute  my hubby and i have been ttc for 10 yrs due to male factor infertility,, sperm count and motility fine,, however morphology poor. We have had 3 lots of failed IVF and 2 failed IUI attempts. We are both in our 30 s and feeling that the clock is ticking away or so to say. Does anyone know of any natural fertility supplements that can improve morphology ??? we have cut out all alcohol and caffeine from our diet and hubby ahs just started fertilaid for men,,, has anyone had any experience or success using this ????? x:shrug:

Hi there, We are just starting IVF, although I am not responding well to stims so it may be abandoned tomorrow. My husband started with a very poor count, motility and morphology, although that was the best out of the three. We changed our diets to mostly organic, My husband stopped taking hotbaths and wearing underwear and he has been taking Zita West supplements since June 2009. We also started acupuncture on a weekly basis for the last 6 months and my husbands count is now considered normal, morphology is fine but motility is still low. There has been a definate change though so hope our story helps!

Hiya there,, sounds like it does make a difference then, we ll stick with it and see what happens,, good luck with ur IVF :flower: x

Hi and welcome to the site sorry to hear about your struggles, sounds like you've been through the mill.

i have been TTC coming up to 6 years with male and female factor(i have PCOS) and partner has low sperm morphology 7%.
even with all this the doctors are calling it unexplained infertility.

what morphology level is your husbabnds?
whats next for u?

xxx

Hiya there and thanx for reply. Sorry t hear about ur struggles aswell,, its so difficult isn t it,, so happy i ve found this site as av spent years watchin every1 else around us having children and feeling that we were the only ones going through this:cry: Anyways,, my husbands morphology was 9 % but can t afford t have any further treatments, just started t make some lifestyle changes and are hoping for the best. Have bought a fertility monitor and preseed and fertilaid for men so fingers crossed , tonnes of :dust: for u for ur 1st IVF attempt x

Have you gotten a male chromosome analysis blood test, called a Karyotype? The reason I ask is not only because of your poor morphology but the failed IVF treatment may indicate a chromosome abnormality.

There's a VERY helpful forum, specifically for male infertility, called Fertilichat.com

There's a guy named Rich on there who is extremely helpful with morphology, sperm count, and motiliy.

Does your husband have a healthy diet, exercise, take vitamins, no drinking or smoking?

I recommend asking Rich's advice on this on that forum. He is a wealth of knowledge.

Best of Luck!!!
I have heard, could be wrong though, that A LOT of men these days have morphology problems.

Hiya,, thanx 4 ur advice there,, i ll have a look at that website now,, my
husband didn t have that blood test,, can you just be referred for this by your GP?? Not sure if this would be an issue as on our second IVF attempt we had 5 eggs fertilised, only 1 of these developing into a 4 celled embryo,, which was transferred but didn t implant  would they have even fertilised if there was a chromosome problem ??? x
