Hi! :hi:

First of all, I'm so sorry for your loss.

DH and I have been TTC #2 for 10 months now. Last month was the first month I kept track of my BBT and it showed that my luteal phase was only 10 days long with a sharp dip at 7DPO. I have never had my levels tested, but suspect that low progesterone is the culprit. I've started taking B-100 complex vitamins and will be using progesterone cream once ov has been detected this month. I'm hoping that's all I will need. Ever since having my daughter 2 years ago, my cycles have been sort of wonky though, even when on BC, so we'll see. :)

I'm in a similar position to you in that I've been TTC for absolutely ages, it was 2 years in August!!! I'm 28 and we started TTC in August 2008. I didn't really know about ovulation. Didn't know you were only fertile for a few days a month so by the October, I felt a bit more clued up, thanks to this website, and that's when I got my BFP. Everything seemed fine, went for my 12 week scan and found out I'd had a MMC as the baby was only measuring 7 weeks 2 days. This was absolutely awful, worst day of my life by quite a long way. But the only thing that got me through it was thinking we could try again. Well we tried and tried and tried. 7 months later, I decided to go to the doctor because I figured something wasn't right. She referred me for blood tests which all came back fine, then she referred me to a fertility specialist. She sent me for an HSG which again was fine, tubes were clear. Then my FS said that I had 2 options, go on the IVF waiting list or have a lap and dye. I said that I didn't see the point in being put on the IVF waiting list if there was something wrong with me as it probably wouldn't work. She agreed and then I was booked in for the lap and dye last month, but she also said she'd put me on the IVF waiting list anyway. Lap and dye came back all clear as well.

The only problem we have is that my husband's sperm count is slightly on the low side, his count was 18 million one time and then 17 the next. She said this wasn't great but not bad. But she said it obviously wasn't enough to get my pregnant but saying that, he got me pregnant in October 2008 and in December 2009, I got my BFP which turned out to be a chemical pregnancy! So I don't think that's true. We need to make a few lifestyle changes I think but it's just so hard because TTC is really stressful.

I'd be happy to be your buddy, although word of warning, I don't come on here so much these days! xxx
