TTC for a year, going to see a specialst

Hi,

I was wondering if there are other people on here that are going to see or have already seen a specialist. What are some of the tests they do and how did you experience the whole thing?

Hi. I've had a few test done mostly bloods and lap n die done which show my tubes were no good so that was all I had done really.

We went to a specialist after I found out my FSH levels where a bit high- after my hubby already underwent 2 Vasectomy Reversals in our journey TTC. The clinic we saw was wonderful... everyone was very willing to answer all my questions, which I had many! lol.

I had initial blood work done (to recheck my FSH/LH/Estrogen levels), I then had a vaginal ultrasound to check my uterus/ovaries initially looked OK and to check how many follicles I had. I then took the 'Clomid Challenge' where I was on Clomid from CD5-9, then CD10 they took additional blood to recheck my levels. I also had a Dye test done to look at my uterus, tubes and ovaries to make sure was all clear. My hubby had an SA done.

It's really a step by step process... but your specialist should talk you through each step and let you know how things are going.
