Hi ladies, thought i'd pop in and join this section. been trying for almost 2 years for my second bubba so it makes sence to come in here. :hugs:

A little about myself.....I'm lynsey 28 years old, have been with my partner almost 12 years come January. we have a 2 and half year old boy together. we didn't really have trouble trying with him, just seemed to happen with in 6 months or so. Ever since I have given birth my cycle and body has been all over the place..and seem to be getting worse not better. my cycle ranges from 30 to 60days...some months are good some are really long.

I've had several scans on my ovaries as I found out last September 2010 that I have PCOS..never had it before so it was a whole new direction for me to go down. I've had bloods taken after bloods and haven't been ovulating for over a year. was given 50mg of clomid for 3 months, didn't work what so ever. My partner had a SA done..perfect no problem with him...just me:wacko: I'm now waiting to go an have a HSG scan on the 27th Dec to see if my tubes are ok. if all is well, then I will be given a higher dose of clomid. so just a long arse waiting game. I don't tend to come on here much as u can see from my thread I just don't bother with it.

hope there's others out there that understand my frustration and would like so join me on the TTC journey.:hugs:

Hi Lyns,

Maz here, from East London.
i'm 35 and I'm trying for my second one and its been about a year. With the first I conceived her within the month so I'm wondering what the hells going on. Hubby's Spermies are proper soldiers fighting war so no issue there. I am in he process of having blood tests to check my hormones and will take it from there.
Really sorry to hear about the PCOS. That sucks but lots of women go on to conceive with PCOS so I don't think it's an issue. Really hoping it works for you hon. I'm not on BnB that much but please keep me posted and let me know how you get on and I will do the same. Good luck with the HSG. Fingers crossed, everything should be fine.

Here's to our BFP's...

By the way your son is gorgeous xxxx

Hi Maz, Great to hear from you

do u know when you'll get your bloods done? its a good start, Hope they come back fine.

Yes having pcos does suck especially when I've got them on both sides...some months they hurt more than others...some months I have spotting from them . a lot of women have indeed got pregnant from them, so i'm hoping it want be that much longer that i'll be one of them

Glad that your partners Sperm is good. thats always a good start...less to worry about. How old is your first born?

I'll let you know how the HSG goes...only 7 days to go xx

Hey Lyns,

I've had my CD3 blood tests and now I have to have my '21' day blood tests, but seeing as I haven't got a standard 28 day cycle, I think I'm going to have them on day 19. I have an issue with spotting at the moment. I usually spot 7 days after ovulation (if in fact I ovulate at all). The spotting goes on for a few days and then AF arrives. It's a bit weird. I'm hoping the blood tests will show something so it can be sorted. Blimey, our bodies are so complicated! I'm glad you don't have to wait long for the HSG. Please let me know what it's like and how it went. Do they give you the results there and then??
My little one is 21 months and real madam..... I love this age. Really starting to develop and talk. :cloud9:

Hopefully we'll talk some more after the HSG...

Take care
Maz

P.S. is this site really slow today or is it just me??

Have you spoke to them about checking for pcos? spotting after af shouldn't be normal...definitely ask when u get your bloods done next  getting bloods done cd21 normally can pick up progesterone levels to see if u have ovulated....but if like me u ovulate late..might want to get them done again around cd30. I have cycles up to 60days so I have too

ah your little girl is 21 months..not far off 2 years. this age is so much fun..there personalities coming through is challenging but still so great seeing them grow. its what makes us want to do it all again, but who'd a thought it would take this long with all these problems :dohh:

have just got my smear results back..there all normal which is a relief

a lot of women have said that having the HSG helped clear there tubes which some say they got pregnant the next cycle...I'm really hoping that can happen to me..wishful thinking I know lol

xx
