I just joined and am looking for experiences with anyone in the same boat. I'm currently in my 2nd cycle of TTC, and decided to start using OPK's last month. It turns out that I O on CD18 of a 27/28 day cycle.

I didn't think there was anything wrong with ovulation late until I started doing some reading about a week ago finding out that I may have a Luteal Phase Defect as I'm currently at a 9/10 day LP.

I started taking 50mg of Vit B6 along with a B Complex to hopefully fix this for my next cycle, hoping 3rd time is a charm.

BUT - I'm currently 2 days late, but getting BFNs. I'm not sure if it was because I started B6, or if something may actually be happening.

I normally spot pretty bad 3-4 days before my period, fairly steadily also. This time I've only had minor spotting, so it's getting my hopes up. I know it's only been 2 cycles and I know that it takes time, but not sure what to think.

I haven't taken a HPT since Saturday morning because it felt like AF was starting, and because I don't want to be disappointed with another BFN.

Am hoping other people out there have had similar experiences - would love to hear your stories!

B6 def helped my cycles i take 300mg see how it helps ur next cycle girl and look into vitex

Lovely AF showed up today, which oddly I'm ok with. I'm just glad to know one way or another. Not knowing was the worst!

I think the B6 may have contributed to delaying my period, even though I only started taking it the day before AF was due - so I'm hoping to see a longer LP this next cycle.

Looking forward to getting through AF and going BD crazy :winkwink: At least the baby making process is enjoyable :)

So here's to cycle #3 - hopefully third times a charm!

Don't take high doses of b6 on its own long term, you can get nerve damage. you need to take a vit B complex, as the b12 balances out the efferct on your body.
