TTC with pcos and metaformin would adore a buddy with PCOS!!!

I have PCOS and would love to be your buddy. I am in your boat but I am at almost two years TTC. Its frustrating and it's a far longer process than I ever imagined. But remember it will be worth it in the end =)

I would love to be a buddy, too. I have PCOS and have been TTC for about a year. Recently started reading about soy iso, but haven't tried it yet.
I have not been on a contraception in years, either.

I have my PCOS follow up appointment with a specialist. I have had PCOS for 10 years now and these Dr appt's aren't really that informative but they monitor to make sure I have no cysts growing and how my diet is working out.

I also have my 4th ultrasound in two weeks to see if my follicles are growing (fingers crossed they grew more!!!)

Sounds good. I've had ultrasounds to check for cysts, but not in a couple of months. I had to take a bit of a break from the dr. I'm also going to try the soy isoflavones before going back to the doctor.

Keep us posted and good luck.

My follicles grew enough! I had two that were mature so they gave me a trigger shot. I should ovulate tomorrow!!!

Morning iwantababybump, hopingintexas, wantanerd.

I also have pcos i have had i for 6 years and again i haven't used any contraception in years either. My hubby and i have been together for 8 years and married for nearly 2 years. I went to see my doctor in July last year and i was given clomid to help me fall pregnant. On my 2nd cycle of taking it i fell pregnant but then miscarried at 7 weeks, i then went back onto clomid for another 4 mths but had no luck so when i went back in april this year he has now given me tamoxifen to take which is meant to be stronger. I haven't heard of anyone taking tamoxifen so i don't know who successful it is.
Wishing you all good luck on your journeys and would like to know how you all get on.

Sending you all lots of baby dust x

I do have pcos but my 14 yr old has it. so it is my plan to help anyone who needs me.
How are you? I hope you are well. let me know how I can help you

Hi there - I saw your post. First of all, I wish you all the best in trying to conceive. Believe me, I know how frustrating and disappointing the process can be. But always remember to keep the faith - there is hope.

I found that when I was diagnosed with PCOS many moons ago that it was important to tune in to my body. I was originally put on Metformin and didn't like the way it made me feel and had no real significant changes in my body or symptoms. I was fortunate to stumble across a natural product at Insulite Labs. I talked to one of their naturopathic docs (for free no less) and decided that it was time to take things into my own hands to manage my symptoms. I started their PCOS supplements, totally changed my diet (low glycemic) and kicked up the exercise routine. It didn't take long to regulate my cycle and manage most of the PCOS symptoms. Not to mention, their website is full of great info.

I'd love to "buddy up" and keep you motivated. As a holistic health coach I feel it is my mission to help women with PCOS and insulin resistance. I have been in your shoes and know how frustrating it is to not find good information.

Remember, keep the faith. My prayers are with you for a little one soon.

Corrie

I hae been trying for 8 months straight no contraception taken for years!!!

I have just been told I have PCOS. Have 2 amazing kids but have been TTC for two years. Got an app with my doctor on thursday to see how she can help.
