hi we have been trying to concieve for 13 months now with no luck. i have been to the doctor who has told me to lose weight which i am trying to do but finding it very difficult as i was told 5 years ago that i had pcos. i am wondering if its my age as i am 35 and feel a bit of a failure as af has arrived again this evening. can anyone offer any advice that might help for next month please

take some pergnace and tell hb to take wellmans hun and bye some lube preseed aw concieve + they help the swimmers good luck hun lots of baby :dust: xx xx

I'm 35 as well, I used concieve plus this cycle and we loved it. I'm on my 3rd cycle of Clomid and nothing yet. It can get so frustrating at times there's no doubt about that. Good luck and I hope your BFP is just around the corner!!

Hi hon
Sorry to hear you're feeling so down. Please don't think that you're a failure - you're not. It's really difficult when you want to be a mum and it's just not happening for you. I hope you're feeling a bit happier and more positive today

hi thanks for your replies. i have picked myself up and dusted myself off equiped myself with a clear blue monitor and some preseed so fingers crossed here we go again lol.

if you've been trying to conceive for over 12 months, are 35 and perhaps have PCOS, you are entitiled to ask for a referral to a gynaecologist (if you're in the uk)
Or at least have ovulation and other blood tests.....

I'd go back to your GP or perhaps see another, perhaps a female???

good luck, hun
