Hi all, im getting concerned i was standing up plucking my eyebowns and after 10 mins i started getting out of breath and feeling faint/weak and concious of my pulse/heart beat. My legs felt funny and heavy so looked down and they were turning blotchy purple so ive come and layed down and its all gone. I had this lastnight but thought it was gone today. Im nearly 36 weeks pregnant any ideas whats happening? Have called midwife am waiting for her to get back. x

I have exactly the same problem. I suddenly feel like I'm getting a blood rush. A few blood blisters have appeared on my face and they pop every so often - blood going everywhere. I told my doctor about this but she didn't seem concerned.

Maybe leaning against the counter you leaned against a nerve or artery and had very poor circulation? I know I have a hard time leaning over to see my mirror lately, hurts my back alot!

I get this a bit due to low blood pressure, sounds like it could be if it went away when you layed down, could also be baby had a hold of one of your tubes! did you're eyesight go grainy too?

Saw midwife she's taken blood as she thinks it might be low iron. Blood pressure was 110/50 which is on low side. She also checked urine and it had abit of protein in it. She said it might be waters leaking as I've been feeling abit damp :-( so have to keep an eye on things. X

Glad you got checked hun!! Hope its not your waters and you just have low BP :hugs:

Anytime this happens be sure not only to lay down but to lay down on your left side....it increases the blood flow to the baby and is just slightly easier on your heart. sounds like for whatever reason your legs just aren't getting enough blood flow .
