Twinges..

Is the twinges I am feeling very very low down (I'm imagining it's my cervix..) would that be baby kicking my cervix? He does feel pretty low down right now.

I've had twinges for a few hours, he was asleep most of the day until about 6pm and he's been active on and off since kicking and wiggling.
When I get a twinge down below it feels almost like a pinch, but I don't feel a 'thud' like I do for a typical kick or wiggle.

That's the only thing that makes me unsure if it's him kicking or not. The lack of 'thud' but I don't know whether I would feel a thud there?? Or maybe he's stretching A LOT?

Anyone get this feeling in that area??

This started happening to me for a few weeks but only very sporadically for a few moments to maybe half a min. I asked my doc last week about the pinching feeling and she said it was growing pains. We listened to baby hb which was normal so she wasn't concerned. I'm interested to know if others get this also.

Ah I guess it could be growing pains as the muscles around my belly are definitely feeling the growing pains.
I've had similar twinges or pains while on my period, especially a more painful and heavy period. So maybe it small contractions that is helping your womb grow?? Bit like the Braxton hicks you're meant to get and not really notice?

And maybe that's why baby was kicking a lot around that time??

It's not incredibly painful just a little uncomfortable and I just get a bit worried incase the pain increases whether it's something bad happening. But the pain stays the same, and eventually goes. Just gets me a bit paranoid and worried.

I almost want to feel baby kick down in that spot and be sure that it's him so I know the difference in types of pain!

It does make me a bit nervous too but since it doesn't last long I don't worry about it too much. I would think that if it was something really wrong it would be painful and stay consistent. Could be bh contractions maybe but this is my first baby so I have no idea what those are like.
