I saw the strangest thing today. Two little girls look like indentical twins. Same height and everything. But one has red hair and the other is more strawberry blond. Is this possible?

Perhaps one gets her hair lightened? A cousin of my OH has twin 10 year olds, one has much lighter hair than the other. She gets her mum to lighten it, as she wants to look different.

non identical twins means they've as much chance of looking alike as any siblings! and therefore they could look incredibly similar by chance and hair color/skin color can vary!

Yes if there not identicle twins. They might just look very similar because of genetics.

My twin are identical. DD1 has strawberry blond hair and dd2 just blond. It is actually the same colour but dd1 has more/thicker hair than her sister so the red looks more obvious.

Id twins will have same hair/eye/skin colour.

I am assuming it the red hair gene. They say red hair gene can come in different shades and there is no true red hair color.
