Two Questions, Mouth full of milk and Clampdown Reflex

DS was just at the breast (yay!) and seemed to fall asleep. He'd stopped sucking and wasn't really latched on. I moved him away, and he had a mouth full of milk! Is this a common thing when babies first start breastfeeding?

Also, does anyone have any experience of clampdown reflex?

The mouth full of milk? He's just not swallowed what ever he sucked before nodding off.

Clampdown reflex is a new one on me.....you dont mean letdown do you?
