had my lil girl late Tuesday night. worst/best day of my life. cervidil put in the night before. took out in the morning, no change. hospital at 9 am. induction started at 10 am. couple hours in contractions were ENORMOUS but nowhere near dilated enough. asked for gas and air, HATED IT. felt so sick and out of it but did nothing to help with the pain. couple hours later, they broke my waters, got a morphine shot in the bum. was SO out of it but still in agony. there was some meconium in the waters when they broke them so around this time I started running a fever. continued on for a bit had to wait for the anesthesiologist to come round. finally got an epi put in and was able to rest in the bed while I dilated the rest of the way. started pushing around 9pm. couldn't get her past my pubic bone her head would push up against and then go back in, I was exhausted/feverish/spent so just before midnight they doctor gave me episiotomy and then vacummed her head and we got her out. gave her a quick rub and straight onto my bare chest, she was rooting around right away they were impressed with how much movement and neck strength she had already. H was crying 
so it was a rough go but she came out perfect and healthy at 41 weeks and 4 days weighing 8 pounds 6 ounces and almost 21 inches long. had to stay in the hospital for two days because I needed IV antibiotics. been home for a few days now and things are going amazingly well. H has been doing most everything ive just been breast feeding, cuddling with her, and trying to sleep when she does. we planned to have her in the bassinette but I've ended up cosleeping with her since we came home, I just flip her onto her back when shes done feeding and then I can get some sleep. im still pretty tender/swollen down there, havnt taken a look yet.
