Ugh it hurts!

So i have a belly ring. I've had it since Nov 1st 2014, haven't had any infections or problems. Now i just had about 12 days of high fertility, and we had sex each day. And now my belly ring is swollen and hurts like hell! I have a pregnancy ring in just in case and its killing me. I've been using this one for a few days are so and this just started. Anyone else have this issue?

Could it be a reaction to the ring you have put in?

It can take up to a year for a navel piercing to fully heal so it's probably just aggrivated it slightly, go back to bathing it with salt water twice per day until it settles down and try not to fiddle with it too much as it could cause bacteria to get in it. if in doubt always pop in to see your piercer or a reputable one locally, they should be happy to check it over for you
