Hi ladies, for those of you who have had unexplained miscarriages or difficulties in getting pregnant alongside an unsupportive GP, you can get a private blood test done. I called Spire Health who gave me the following quotes:
£117.40 Factor V Lieden / £65 Progesterone / £110 Thyroid function and £22 for the phlebotamy charges (per visit not per test)
You will need to get a referral from your GP but there is no reason why they don't give it because you're paying it for it privately.
Ifyou're worried and are in a financial position to fund it I would suggest thinking about getting the tests done. I hope it's not too late but I will have progesterone and factor v test done as soon as my asshole doctor writes the letter.
