UK ladies - where did you get your moses basket from?

I'm thinking of asking my mum to buy me a moses basket, as the ones over here are ridiculously expensive (150€+) and hard to come by. My brother is coming over in April so will be easy to get it here.

I'm not looking to spend a fortune on it, something simple really. I just want something for the baby to sleep in while in the living room.

So, where did you get your moses basket from, and how much did you pay for it?

Try toysrus, mother care, kiddicare, tesco direct(online)
they are usually about £30+

Im probably just getting one from asda as I might not use if for long and it looks pretty good quality (and not remotely expensive!)

Mines a second hand mamas and papas! Just got a new mattress for it but I was going to buy one from kiddicare think it was only £30. Asda or tesco will probably have some cheap ones too

John Lewis do a pretty white one for only 35£.
But stand separate! Don't think they ate expensive though.

for my friends baby shower we got her one from JOhn leweis and it was £70 , it came with a stand which rocked as baby moved, it really was beautiful for the price... which i am now going to use when my little one is here

toys r us it was £60 but didnt come with a stand so had to spend another £40 on stand

You can get used ones off gumtree for quite cheap, usually stand included, but you'll want to get a brand new mattress.

We got ours from Toys R US, Its the pink dotted 'I love my bear' one that costs £80. We also got a voucher for £30 with it, and also bought the white rocking stand seperate for £25. Just cant wait till shes here to use it now

This doesn't help at all but we will be using my one, its been knocking around the family since I used it 37 yrs ago and its solid and made if wicker....we just need a new mattress etc....maybe someone has one you can use?? Just a thought...
