ultra sound vent!

Hello!

So today i had my internal ultrasound to check for cysts before iui. The ultrasound department was full of expecting mummies and posters on preparing for your birth! PretTy inconsiderate i thought!

So im sat there tryin to hold my emotions in when a happy couple walk out, baby photo in hand. I just burst into tears!!!

Why would a hospital mix new mums an strugglin wanna b mums????

I know how you feel... When I went to the hospital for my HSG I had to walk right by the nursery window to the medical records department! To make things worse, the X-ray tech from my HSG says "Oh, look at the little babies!" I wanted to slap her but I was too busy holding back the tears. I honestly don't think people think about those things.

They really do.t think these things through. Nobody really understands it unless they've been through it. Good luck dear.

They should mix it but they just dont care its easy to just put everyone together even though people struggling or people who have had misscarriages are going to be completly crushed by seeing all these moms to be, pretty rude actually Hope you get to be that person with the pictures very very very soon, tons of babydust to you try and stay positive

hiya, i am sorry you had to deal with this, our infertility clinic is in the maternity unit, resulting in people having to walk through the waiting room of people waiting for scans and next to loads of pregnant women waiting to speak to the consultants
it is heartbreaking and makes everything so much worse
i cannot understand why they can't think about this

Its disgusting, even when my DF had to have a testicular scan i had to sit in a waiting room full of expectant people!.

Would it be so difficult to have a few separate waiting rooms? I know someone who works in a theatre an they over heard a surgeon saying to someone who needed an op after miscarriage complications "im pleased to say the op was successful"

people just don't think. No bedside manor!!!
