Ultrasound does 3 lines def mean a girl??

Hi guys had an u/s 2 days ago and asked if she could tell me the gender she was adiment that she didn't wanna say that early as I'm only 13w 5 days she was measuring the thigh bones for quite some time so I got a clear view of inbetween the legs and seen absolutely nothingso was hoping girl then today I got the u/s film and can clearly see 3 lines inbetween the legs does this mean girl or could it be a boy as I'm only 13w 5 days so unsure I'll post pic later when I'm on the pc thanx in advance

At that early its hard to say hun. My little girl is very obviously a girl as we could clearly see what the sonographer described as the 'burger' but that was at 17 weeks. If the 3 lines were that obvious she probably would have said xx

I saw the three lines at 20 weeks and I hope I'm having a girl as the sonographer said, otherwise the poor boy is gonna have to learn to love dresses. I think three lines pretty much means girl. 13 weeks in early to tell the sex though.

I just had a scan 16 weeks they still said it's too early, they said they dont like to confirm until 19 weeks but I couldn't see anything between baby's legs & I could clearly see three lines so I am totally sold on the fact that I am having a baby girl xxx

Thanx guys I know they can tell that early she was. Bit moody and said gender doesn't matter it's about seeing if baby is ok which I understand

I'd be careful judging for yourself off the screen too, I was convinced at my scan we were looking at between the legs and that I could see three lines, thinking it must be a girl, then she moved the wand down and it turns out we weren't looking at between the legs at all and baby is in fact a boy! No idea what I was looking at originally! lol!

Its probably a bit early to tell. Id be careful going on your own opinion too as Ive looked at loads of scans and the sonographer told me to guess when she had babys bits on show and I guessed boy and she was a girl and that was at 20weeks! Baby could very well be a girl but I wouldn't go out and buy anything yet x

Thats a bit early...but if u saw three lines and no swelling of the genitals it looks like its leaning towards girl!

Hey all had a gender scan today they do early ones near me at 14 weeks he says def a girl there's no mistaking it he had the most perfect view even I could see he also said at 14 weeks if it's a boy u can clearly see so.... Sooo excited after 4 boys I finally get a princess!!!

Haha that happened to me! Except she was checking her kidneys and i thought it was her face and i was like "OMFG" and the tech laughed and said no worries its her tummy lol

I had a scan at 15w and when they measured the legs i saw between and KNEW i saw a girl based on all the pics i compared. But no one would confirm that early. We just got confirmed shes all girly
Sometimes the legs cross in places you cant tell and a nub could hide esp. That early. Also when they arent checki g that area it might not pick up all of whats really there.

It's a bit early to tell. but i had my 20 week scan i saw what looked like a scotum between the legs, (round ball/bulge like) and it was. i have a son. i didnt see with my daughters but three lines are ment to be girl. congrats

We had a private scan at 16w and saw 3 lines and told it was a girl. 20 week scan also said girl, so like the other said I hope so otherwise will have a boy in a lot of pink!

15 weeks we clearly had a girl (nub & lines). Confirmed at 17, 18, 19 weeks!!
