I had an ultrasound done by my former GP's office (I recently just switched). They didn't ask where I was in my cycle at the time of the US, just had me come in to say "everything looks fine." I just got a copy of the results (no image, just description) and would like some advice on how to read it. I was two days before my period. I had multiple follicles on each ovary. The left is bigger than the right, but the right had a larger dominant follicle than the left. R dom follicle: 2.4cm, L dom follicle: 2.2cm and partially exophytic (which I looked up and means it is a cyst). I have an appointment with a FS next month and will schedule all new tests, but anyone have any insight to this? TIA.
