Uncontrollable crying and rash

Hi, just a quick question, my great nephew has just been rushed to hospital. He's been ill for a while and was up hospital new years day, it's his 1st bday today and he's been crying constantly and has just come out in a rash around his mouth, neck, hands and feet. Foot and mouth was mentioned a while ago and that's all I know.
Anyone help out on whst it could be????

If its hand foot and mouth it is awful !! My little boy hadit not so long ago , its very painful !!! It is not serious and clears up itself after a few days . My LO was so ill with it , my niece ended up in hospital with it just to try control the pain .

Hi, turns out was tonsillitis!, I never u could get a rash around mouth neck hands and feet , with tonsillitis.
