Hey everyone.
This is my first pregnancy (I am 17+3 days) and I just can not get a full night's sleep! it is driving me mad!
My legs are almost always aching in the morning I struggle to even move.
The vivid and most horrible nightmares are occurring as well that I wake up every single hour to!

Any advice or tips? I haven't had a full night's sleep since before I was taken into hospital for HG at 10 weeks.

I'd recommend a pregnancy pillow! I had one around 15-17 weeks even though I had only a tiny bump it really helped, as I was putting weight on all over and tiring out pretty quick through the day, and the pillow just helped me get supported in the right places so I could relax!

I just had a six foot long body pillow. It's perfect.

Now I'm 26 weeks though I'm getting the pregnancy insomnia! I also wake up pretty much as soon as it's light n struggle to sleep again! But at least when I do sleep now, I'm comfortable! I've always struggled with sleep, and I think I may keep the pillow post pregnancy as it supports my back perfectly!

When it comes to nightmares I guess it's about things that are worrying you? Or maybe you need to wind down before you go to bed. Give yourself an hour to relax and wind down. But vivid dreams seems to be quite a common symptom!

Im with you as well. I cant sleep for the life of me. Im so umcomfortable lol. I agree with the post above. I just ordered my pregnancy pillow today and hoping that helps saves my sleepless nights :sad2:lol. I also have terrible nightmares from time to time but I have no remedy for that hahaha

I'm in need of getting a pregnancy pillow, what ones would people recommend? Xxx

I'm having this too :-( it's very frustrating! If it isn't the unbearable heat, or my toddler bed hopping it's just plain and simple insomnia grr. The nightmares for me have passed now but I sympathise.xx

I had been thinking of a pregnancy pillow. I had a look at one in mother care the other day. I'll try anything right now so I'll deffo give that a try.

I am the same! I wake up as soon as it's light out and it's murder :dohh:

Well I am going on holiday in September for a week and I keep having dreams of the plane crashing and all that nonsense
I keep having dreams along with it of losing my OH and being unable to find him.. I mean my OH is a very supportive man and he's taking great care of me. It's quite distressing tho. I always end up waking up in a cold sweat lol

I have heard that Dreamgenii pillows are good, don't quote me on that though as I am in the mist of buying one myself!
